Unfortunately, as of October 2024 we no longer have a studio available.
The nature of the business means we do not have a fixed working day. Portrait session are most successful between 9am-5pm.
In addition to normal office hours, some evening appointments for meetings and viewings are also available Mon-Thurs .
Christopher Hill Photography was established in Burnham, Bucks in 1988.
There is no specified number of images that will be taken. Numbers will vary depending on the willingness of subjects on the day.
Yes of course. Headshot packages function differently to family portraits.

A new digital package has been introduced in 2024 which includes TEN images from a studio or location portrait session. The Location Lifestyle Package includes 30 digital images. Digital files on all other types of portrait session are chargeable per image with a minimum order of 6 images.
Our motto is quality over quantity.
If you purchase hi-res digital images, you will get full printing rights so you will be able to print, copy and share your images as much as you like for your personal use. To help prevent fraudulent use of the images or theft etc. Christopher Hill Photography will retain copyright.
You may not use or sell your portrait images for commercial/profitable gain.
If you have a project that requires exclusive rights and full ownership of copyright, please contact us to discuss rates.
Purchase of prints does not include the digital file.
Portrait viewings are carried out in the studio. It is easier to display the many different options and answer any questions you may have.
The images are normally ready to view 3-5 days after the session.
Yes we do. Standard British passport photos can be printed while you wait, or a digital only service suitable for passport renewals.
Most other international passports can be printed on the day if you provide the exact specifiations prior to the appointment.
All images will be checked for correct colour and density prior to the viewing.
Images chosen for the order will be re-checked and retouched if necessary.
Digital re-touching of non-permanent spots or skin blemishes may be carried out free of charge at our discretion.
Requests for other retouching, including removing tattoos and body shaping, are chargeable.
Whilst we aim to please, we reserve the right to decline manipulation orders.
Yes of course. Let us know before the photo session and we will not post a blog or social media.
Yes. Not only is our equipment is insured against damage but we also have Public Liability insurance up to £5,000,000.
Yes. Chris holds an Enhanced DBS certificate.
A booking fee of £25 is required for standard 1 hour sessions in the studio. The final balance is due on the day of the session.
A 50% booking fee applies to larger bookings and location packages. The final balance is due on the day of the session.
Orders for products from your session are accepted with full payment at the time of placing your order.
Our preferred method of payment is bank transfer but we do accept most credit/debit cards.
We regret we do not accept cheques or American Express.
